We are interested in the study of the electronic and magnetic properties and in
the unusual electronic ground state in novel complex materials and
nanostructures. Our goal is to reach a full understanding of the quantum
theory of solids and to define new pathways for the fabrication of novel
materials with desired properties.
In our laboratory we investigate their properties using a
variety of experimental probes including Angle Resolved Photoemission
Spectroscopy (ARPES), Spin- Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (Spin-ARPES),
Spin Polarized Low Energy Electron Microscopy (SPLEEM) and
Inelastic X-ray
Scattering (IXS).
